Baby Betty Crockers

Clara got a new kitchen and the girls we occupied for 30 solid minutes. For anyone who knows a toddler, thats basically an eternity!! Snapped a few pictures while they were playing. It was amazing how both of them pretended to wash their hands and fill bowls with "water." Such smart little ladies. The only downside is the stainless steel sink that they just love to drop the wooden fruit into. So, playtime gets a little loud. After putting a dish towel in the sink it was much less loud. Magda is partial to the oven. She likes to put the bowls on the burner

and use a large wooden spoon to mix it. Then she gives everyone a taste...even the dogs! Clara likes to organize the fridge. She just takes the bowls in and out and moves them around on the shelves. And if you try to help she will tell you in her own way not to. Sh is very particular about her fridge organization.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

It was 68* today in Chicago. I can't remember the last time a St. Patrick's Day was so warm. The girls and I had a great day. We left the house right after morning nap and went over near the zoo. This first picture was taken on a bridge that goes over the new Nature Walk at Lincoln Park Zoo. After our little photo-op we had a picnic and just hung out outside for the afternoon. There were a lot of people out with their dogs playing fetch and the girls really enjoyed watching the dogs run all over the place.

They Never Cease to Amaze Me

So, these ladies are something else. I was cleaning up the legos that were all over the family room and the girls were playing in the kitchen with plastic tubs and containers. I stopped hearing the containers but still heard them, so I wasn't concerned. In the 60 seconds it took me to clean up, this is where I found them.

Tutu Cute



Nothing too exciting going on today. The girls are adjusting to the new time change and eating so much! They looked so cute in their tutu's today and were in such a happy mood I had to snap a few pictures!

Shedd Aquarium

Last week the girls, Magda's grandma, and myself went to the Shedd Aquarium. We hadn't been since the summer time and just like the zoo the girls were so much different. Last time we went, they were scared of the wave machine and this this time I think Magda would have swam in it if she could have. We did finally go see the dolphin show....It was anything but a show. It was more of an educational discussion about how Beluga Whales can be trained and some birds. The dolphins did a few things at the end lasting about 30 seconds. I'm glad I didn't try to brave it by myself over the summer when their attention span was even shorter then it is now.

The girls also dressed up in some penguin costumes and climbed all over a playground modeled after a penguin's home. They LOVED the slide!
